Roger and Marlene Peattie Picture Book Collection
The Roger and Marlene Peattie Picture Book Collection houses 1250 titles that represent the work of over 400 children’s book illustrators. The collection contains significant holdings from Mitsumasa Anno,
Edward Ardrizzone, Quentin Blake, Raymond Briggs, John Burningham, Michael Foreman, Fiona French, Lazlo Gal, Paul Galdone, Paul Goble, James Houston, Charles Keeping, Errol Le Cain, Arnold Lobel, Barry Moser, Maurice Sendak, Chris Van Allsburg and Brian Wildsmith. The Collection consists mostly of twentieth-century imprints and contains first editions, early editions and reprints. There are also a small number of rare or scarce items, including first editions of A.A. Milne’s Winnie-The-Pooh and The-House-At-Pooh-Corner.
